This year's winning short films were announced Sept. 20 at the Intelligent Use of Water™ Film Competition screening in Beverly Hills, CA. Without further ado, the winners are:
2011 Jury Award
"Fun and Games" by Ben Mills, Basingstoke, Hants, U.K.
2011 Audience Choice Award
"Just Don't Flush It" by Brian McAndrew, North Bend, Oregon
2011 Green Industry Award
"Water Ways" by Jall Cowasji, Norman, Oklahoma
We'd like to congratulate each of these winners, along with all of this year's participating filmmakers, for the ingenuity and creativity they showed in support of water conservation. We'd also like to thank Jack Hanna, our judges panel and our many co-sponsors for their help with this year's competition. Together, we've raised awareness of the need to more responsibly use and manage Earth's most precious resource.
